Founded in 2005 as Village East Salon and reimagined in 2013 as Salon Toujours, we’ve built our home at 19 Oak Street in Ridgewood, NJ.
Our mission is simple: to enrich the lives of every guest who walks through our doors. We combine expert consultation, personalized care, and a welcoming atmosphere to create an experience that’s as enjoyable as it is transformative.

Meet Farida
With over three decades of experience behind the chair, Farida is the owner and senior stylist of Salon Toujours—and a trusted name in expert color and extensions. She specializes in creating seamless, natural-looking transformations that enhance each client’s individual beauty.
Farida opened her first salon in 2005 and has spent the past 21 years building a loyal clientele and a reputation for excellence. Her deep knowledge of color theory and extension methods, including tape-in and V-Light, makes her a go-to for clients seeking both subtle enhancements and dramatic changes.
Every appointment is a collaboration rooted in trust, artistry, and a belief that great hair has the power to uplift and transform.
